Joel Eckstein is the principal and founder of the company, with 20+ years of experience in contracting and construction management. His wife, Cheryl, runs the back office handling scheduling, regulatory issues and compliance.

But what about that name, mSquared? “My wife and I were blessed with five children,” explains Joel. “Our youngest two — our resident builders of Lego and Magna-Tiles — are named Maya and Max. Putting them together, we get a double ‘m’, or ‘mSquared.’”
